Gardening from organic seeds is an organic gardening process which is scientific and healthier for its consumers. It is a natural process with no artificial stimuli, chemical applications and harmful pest control. Biological pest control is being used in this process and there stimuli for growth of plants are also made from other plants of biological organisms. So bad effect of this process generated foods on the human body is zero.
Gardening from organic seeds is not a foolproof process for all the seeds as different seeds need different weather and soil type for germination. Normally long-season plants like eggplants, pepper etc. do not adapt cool location for germination in case of direct sowing them. So prior to sowing seeds the gardener need to follow the instructions as directed by the packets of seeds. Seeds need to prepare well for successful germination. The first step is seed scarification where the seeds are being scratched by rubbing them in the filer or sand paper for making them well water soaking. The scratching process should not harm the seeds deeper. Then stratification of seeds is needed to follow as it prepares the seeds need to be provided a natural environment that happens in the nature automatically. In this process , a small amount of vermiculite, perlite, coco coir or sand in a plastic sandwich bag is needed. Then moistening the medium the seeds should be placed in a sandwich bag in a fridge for two weeks. It need not keep them in freezer. After two week the bag should be placed in a cool location for another week and then again it is placed for two weeks in fridge. Then again the bag should be placed in a cool location for a week. In this process, the gardener should check periodically the medium as the medium should not be dried. This continuous process should be going on for two months. This process is very good for perennials, tiny seeds and seeds for trees and shrubs. Now this is the time to proceed into the next step, hat is soaking the seeds. It is an easier process as it needs to keep the seeds in lukewarm water for 24 hours to finally prepare it for good germination.
Soil is another important factor for gardening from organic seeds successfully as good soil helps to germinate seeds well and to grow the plants well. Soil type should be clump-free, weed-free, rock and sticks free and it should loosen with any manual process for providing the seeds a healthier environment to germinate. Besides, the soil should be evenly moistened and the type of soil for different seeds should be followed as different seed needs different soils.
The above mentioned and described processes are very useful for indoor started plants having specific germination conditions. If the processes are followed step by step with a special care, then successful result can be expected positively. Gardening from organic seed should be adapted by every nation now- a-days for making the nation healthier and to prevent unexpected diseases.
